This show can be a horrible example of 'amateur theatre', if done poorly (and it often is). On the other hand, if they study the Delsarte Technique, and play the show as a spoof (as it is written) then the show is a huge hit. This one certainly was.
Since our school's theatres are under construction, we are performing our shows this year in various locations. This one was at Portland Community College's Sylvania Campus PAC. Since we have no scene shop for constuction, we chose this show for ease-of-set. All drops were rented from Charles H. Stewart.
