The Crucible
I often will use computer-generated models to define scale (which is always a tricky issue at Lincoln High School's tiny stage), and to toy with colour and texture concepts. Also, the director can use these images to show the actors, and to block the show.
Sometimes I even create entire fly-thru videos, and/or bizzarre show parodies of these models, but that's another story altogether.
No, the bosomed, "Xena, Warrior Princess"-like character was not a costume concept -- I just used her to demonstrate scale. Imagine my red face when I saw these pictures, replete with Xena, proudly displayed in the lobby of the theatre. Gulp.
