The Addams Family

Directed by Annie Kaiser. Vocal Direction by Barbara Fontana, Music Direction by Kevin Egan, Choreography by Christine GreenHalgh, Costume Design by Grace O’Malley.

A fresh and funny production.  So much opportunity for special effects and comedic gags, limited only by budget.

The opening backdrop (cemetery and outside the Addams house, and Central Park) was rented from Theatre World Backdrops. The Great Hall was designed by me, and was a digitally-printed cutout drop, and the stairways and balcony were wagons.

We also made a giant in-one red drape of panels of crushed panne velour…. very gothic effect!
